How awesome was that fight? Igor Larionov and Peter Forsberg start fighting -- something I thought I'd never see. Darren McCarty turns and sees public enemy #1 Claude Lemieux there and starts pummeling him. Patrick Roy comes skating from his net to stick up for Lemieux since everyone else is at the other end of the ice, and Brendan Shanahan intercepts him with a flying clothesline. Someone comes over to stick up for Roy, and that's when Chris Osgood sees what's happening and bloodies Roy. Larionov and Forsberg stop fighting, but by then McCarty has dragged Lemieux to the boards and is throwing him face first into them.
Man, I'm neither anti- nor vemonously pro-fighting, but Lemieux had it coming.

While you are watching that, I will be watching my Sox hopefully beating the Cubs the way Darren McCarty beat on Claude Lemieux circa 3/97.

I also spelled venomously wrong.
If that was not a Hallmark moment then I just don't know.
